Tips for Setting Up Fans for Your Event

Blog

If you are hosting a large party, especially one that includes a lot of moving around, such as a rave or a dance party, you are going to need some way to cool everything down or else you are going to risk people getting heat stroke or being otherwise dehydrated. One way to deal with this situation is to rent fans. Fans will not directly cool the air but they will move the air around and help people feel a lot more cool, which can make the event more pleasant for everyone. However, you will definitely need to figure out how best to set up the fans for your event. Here are some tips to follow to make sure that your event is successful.

Figure Out How Many Fans You Need

Your first step is to figure out how many fans you are going to need. You definitely will want at least two in order to cover two sides of the room, as well as a small one for the person or people who are going to be playing the music everyone's listening to. Additional fans will depend on the size of the room and how many windows or doors you have. Fans will also allow you to pump in cool air from the outside, which will make it much more pleasant for all your attendees. Try to create at least one cool area for every 20 to 30 guests you are planning to have.

Figure Out Where to Install the Fans

Next, you will need to decide where you are going to rent fans for events, like the one you're hosting. You'll also need to set up the fans after you have rented them. If you have doors or windows that lead outside and the air outside is going to be cooler than the air inside, then you should probably put the majority of the fans in the windows. You want to have cool breezeways on either side of the room for people to jump out of the middle and cool down a little bit before going back into the fray. Sending cool air into the crowd in the middle of the room isn't going to do a lot because it won't make it past the first clump of people who are dancing. Putting them on the sides and near the back is your best solution.

For the personal fan, simply allow the person or people organizing the music to set it up.

Planning a Fundraising Event

My father is an amazing man. He has pastored the same church in a tiny rural community for the past three decades. Whenever anyone in the community needed financial assistance, my dad has always been willing to help. Over the years, he’s planned several fundraising events that were huge successes. Do you need to plan a fundraising event in the near future? Consider hiring a professional event planner to help you accomplish this important task. An event planner can help you book a facility and select a caterer. On this blog, I hope you will discover the advantages of hiring an event planner to help you make an upcoming fundraiser successful.
